I had a job to do in South Queensferry and I left home in brilliant sunshine. However, when I arrived in South Queensferry, it was shrouded in haar. Not to be deterred, I went back to North Queensferry, found a nice vantage point, and waited for this to unfold in front of me.

Don't be gaslit into thinking this is about toilets. @carla_denyer doesn't think women deserve ANY male-free spaces: rape crisis centres, hospital wards, homeless shelters, domestic abuse refuges, prison cells or changing rooms, no matter how vulnerable or traumatised the women.

This "debate" about who should use what toilet doesn’t benefit anyone. It doesn’t fix the underfunding of women's refuges, NHS waiting lists leaving women in terrible pain, mums skipping meals to feed their kids. How about we get on with tackling the real issues affecting women?
