No and no. I don’t want to punish people who legitimately can’t work. They should be entitled to benefits. The issue is that there are millions in this country who could work but choose not to and claim benefits instead. That is what I think we should stop. That applies to British and non British citizens! I don’t want to deport everyone who is a non British citizen. Just those who came here illegally or those who do not work. Not even sure how this is remotely controversial.

@bororeeves That is why they were looked into. Some application of common sense needed though; its very unlikely someone would cross oceans and seas in grave danger just to return to that country for a vacation. Basic smell test. It doesn't make sense.

@TrisOsborneMP put in, I agree a small term to benefits, but if you’ve never put in, with zero intention of ever working, why are they here? A lot of them fleeing their country go on holiday there to visit family, it can’t be that war torn if you can pop over at the tax payers expense 🤔

@TrisOsborneMP Just to add to this, even a low amount, ie 10bn would keep us in the clear rather than a negative 👍 this also isn’t aimed at a specific group, it’s aimed at all non citizens .. if you ain’t working, or never put into the system, what gives you the right to claim? 🤔
