Boson Masterplan Part VI is out! Boson is the decentralized commerce layer of the Intelligent Economy, verifiably fair exchange of any RWA between any agent (human or AI) A post-human agent economy needs deterministic settlement + real-world commitments. Link in the comments👇

Stablecoins solved payments. @BosonProtocol solves agentic commerce. Together: a complete stack for agent-to-agent exchange with no intermediary taking a cut. Wait until you see what we’re shipping next.

Visa and Mastercard are both launching agent payment products. History lesson: whoever owns settlement owns the margin. AI agents need rails no incumbent can tax. That’s Boson. Wait until you see what we’re shipping next.

Visa, Mastercard, OpenAI all racing to insert themselves between agents and commerce. AI agents are platform killers — they automate discovery, trust, settlement. @BosonProtocol doesn’t extract. It enables. Wait until you see what we’re shipping.

OpenAI Instant Checkout charges AI agents 4% per transaction. We didn’t fight platform extraction to hand it to an AI company. @BosonProtocol: zero protocol fee, no middlemen, commitments enforced onchain. Wait until you see what we’re shipping.

The idea of agent commerce is moving beyond software as @StrikeRobot_ai teams up with @virtuals_io to connect on-chain AI agents to real robots like the Unitree G1. These agents are trained in simulation, then deployed to handle real-world tasks like inspections, safety monitoring, and factory operations. The key shift is that these robots can coordinate and transact with each other, turning hardware into autonomous, value-generating systems. This could mark the moment digital intelligence fully enters the physical world.

It’s a sunny Tuesday Humanoid robotics isn’t limited by hardware it’s limited by autonomy at scale. @StrikeRobot_ai ’s SR Agentic (via @virtuals_io) aims to solve this by enabling robots like Unitree G1 to operate independently in real-world environments. The bigger shift: robots aren’t just tools anymore they become ownable, investable, and revenue-generating assets, forming a networked system of productive units. Xoob

@exencial_RP Bill payments are just the start. The real challenge: how do agents ensure fair exchange when buying physical goods from unknown counterparties? Four approaches: trust, reputation, escrow, or game theory. @BosonProtocol chose game theory — it's the only one that scales.

Future-proofing with AI is no longer a buzzword hereit’s reality. • 21% of the company’s code is now written by AI. Their latest innovation? "Agentic Commerce." Partnering with OpenAI, they’ve launched bill payments that feel like a conversation, not a chore. (7/10)

🧵Ever wondered how a company that started by automating petrol pumps in 1998 became the brain behind India's retail checkout? Meet Pine Labs. After 25 years of evolution, they’ve transitioned from selling "dumb terminals" to building a trillion-dollar digital infrastructure. Here’s the thread. (1/10)

Have you ever come across UCP? The Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP) is an open-source standard that aims to fuel the next generation of agentic commerce. I found it interesting and read several blogs and documents about it. Blog: developers.googleblog.com/under-the-hood…

This is huge! $5T agentic payments market by 2030 is a game-changer for the whole space. Love how Pundi AI is helping build those open rails right now so AI agents can handle real transactions smoothly and autonomously. Excited to see the infrastructure come together — keep pushing forward, team! #PundiAI #AgenticEconomy

@KenWattana The fintech approach works for atomic payments — API calls, instant compute. The crypto approach handles programmability. But the real opportunity: non-atomic commerce where agents buy physical goods. That's where @BosonProtocol operates.

Cross-rail settlement with dispute resolution. x402 is stablecoin-only. ACP is fiat-only. MPP is session-based. Mastercard Agent Pay is token-based. Disputes resolve only within each stack. Agent pays stablecoin, service delivers fiat invoice, fails... zero cross-rail recourse.

A2A commerce is a tractable engineering problem. Not a mystical one. What it needs is a trust layer built as a deterministic system with aligned incentives. Not a bunch of MD files read by Claude. Four layers:

Commerce as a first-class deterministic function. Not agents interpreting vendor policies creatively. Machine-readable contracts, buying rules, authorization levels, policy enforcement, audit trails. Code calling code. Agents as callers, not interpreters.

@ericmacdougall Payment fragmentation is just the beginning. The real complexity: agents buying physical goods where delivery isn't instant. Three payment protocols become ten commerce protocols without a unified layer. Boson Protocol solves this as the commerce layer.

HyperTrends spells out what it takes today to close one transaction: "AP2 for spending governance, ACP for vendor discovery, x402 for micropayment execution."Three protocols, one transaction. ERC-8004 identity doesn't talk to Visa TAP identity. Mastercard Agent Pay reputation doesn't reach x402 Bazaar.

ACP (Stripe/OpenAI): checkout flow. Fiat-only. ChatGPT Instant Checkout shipped then shuttered March 2026.AP2 (Google, 60+ partners): authorization via W3C VCs. Doesn't move money. "No consumer can use AP2 yet" per Chainstack.

@ericmacdougall The infrastructure gap is payment vs commerce layers. x402, ERC-8004, AP2 solve atomic payments. Physical goods need non-atomic exchange with game theory. Boson Protocol is the missing commerce layer that composes with all payment rails.

The $15T Gartner B2B agent commerce projection is real as demand. It is not real as infrastructure.Every major network is trying. x402 has 154M transactions. ERC-8004 went live Jan 29. AP2 has 60+ partners. MPP launched at $5B valuation in March. Nothing composes yet. Chainstack on AP2: "60+ partners but no consumer can use AP2 yet."Tomasev et al. 2026: "none of MCP, A2A, AP2, UCP covers the full cycle of intelligent delegation."First live Mastercard Agent Pay B2B in Europe (Santander + PayOS, March 4): explicitly "not a commercial rollout." Stripe's 2025 annual letter: "agentic commerce suffers from having been overhyped too early."This from the company co-authoring ACP and MPP.Endpoints register. Volume spikes (often memecoin-driven). Most go dormant. Another network announces. Repeat. The gap isn't demand. It's that agents are probabilistic, no liability layer exists, no cross-network reputation, no cross-protocol identity federation.arxiv 2506.00073 benchmarked 9 LLM agents negotiating 100 real products: systematic asymmetries, long-horizon failures. Every enterprise ops leader I've talked to wants procurement automated.None of them trust current agents to close a $500K vendor contract. They're right not to. Yet. Rails breakdown next.
