I think the most frustrating part of the whole bot situation is the inability to see my own improvement manifest itself. Yesterday, for example, I played zero bots. Idk how, I must have just been insanely lucky, but no bots all day. And I went up 100 MMR in a day, finishing about 40 points off top 100. I felt amazing, the car control was great, and I was making really solid plays all around. Even got some banger YouTube recordings in where I didn't have to play any bots. Fast forward to today. Streamed for a few hours, was playing great, winning my games against REAL PLAYERS, then just played bot after bot after bot. Ended up losing every game except one to the bots. But the real kicker? I won every single game I played today that was against real players. By all accounts, my car felt great, my touches were good, my positioning and decision making was solid, but I still ended up losing MMR and ended up lower than I started. It's hard not to be frustrated when despite making your best efforts to improve, and noticing that you are genuinely improving, the results don't show themselves in tangible numbers like MMR gain. And I can't even say that I had quality losses like I normally would if I had a losing session. Sometimes when I'm losing MMR I can still look back on the games and know that I was playing solid or just got out-skilled. In this case, I'm simply losing due to people cheating. It feels hopeless. I'm assuming EAC will come out April 28th, since that will be the first Tuesday after the online RLCS events are done. (I do not have insider info about this, just speculating). Hopefully EAC can refund me all the MMR I've lost 💀💀

Je pense qu’il est temps que les choses changent à propos de Rocket League et d’Epic Games. Je n’ai pas parlé depuis quelque temps, mais la situation du jeu est dramatique. Ce qui fait vivre Rocket League, c’est l’esport, de par son intensité, sa facilité de compréhension, mais avant tout le niveau individuel incroyable de tous les joueurs professionnels. Vous savez où je veux en venir : bots et DDoS. Nous avons dû créer des serveurs Discord pour essayer de jouer de manière compétitive, mais ce n’est pas la solution miracle. C’est compliqué à gérer, pas facile d’accès, puis évidemment nous ne pouvons pas rassembler tous les joueurs du monde entier. Le problème étant que le niveau global des joueurs régresse et que notre temps de jeu est divisé par deux ou par trois. Epic Games, faites quelque chose tout de suite. À tous mes amis créateurs de contenu : ce n’est pas normal pour vous non plus d’avoir à subir ça. Les gens ne regardent plus Rocket League, les streamers perdent potentiellement leur communauté et peuvent perdre leur métier. Il est temps de réaliser que nous ne pouvons plus attendre, sinon Rocket League finira comme Rocket Racing. Rassemblons la communauté et formons qu'un. #RLNEEDCHANGES
