#OnThisDay in ’65 it was cold, wet & windy in upstate New York. At Watkins Glen, Jim Clark therefore donned a Harrod’s cardigan over his overalls. After 11 laps his race was over (engine failure). After 110 laps his friend & rival Graham Hill had won his 3rd consecutive #USGP.
