Panelists are Prof. Alessandro Portelli, renowned oral historian and retired professor from the University of Rome “La Sapienza,” whose pioneering work has shaped the field globally; Prof. Natalia Khanenko-Friesen, Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studies, an expert in oral history, diaspora studies, and contemporary Ukraine and Azra Frlj, President of the Association “Progres,” psychologist and trauma-informed practitioner focused on peacebuilding and psychosocial support. These panelists will address how oral history practices are evolving today, ethical responsibilities in testimony collection and storytelling, and also the contemporary relevance of oral histories in conflict and post-conflict societies. Organized within the Srebrenica Outreach Project and supported by the Government of the United Kingdom (@JulianReillyUK), this conference brings together leading voices in oral history, archiving, transitional justice, and genocide studies. I recently got a taxi from Donabate to Dublin airport with Uber and it was €14euro, I then got a rank taxi back to Donabate a few days later,He refused to go over 80kmh on the M1 and then tried to charge me over €30 for a 12minute drive. Uber stops us folk being ripped off 👍🏻
