BYU fans, We apologize for the students actions during the football game yesterday. It is inexcusable and we need to be better. It is not representative of the university and this city. You are the classiest fan base in the Big 12 and we are sorry we did not return the favor.

10 YEARS SOBER 🙏🏾 I would’ve never imagined being here today after hitting rock bottom checking into rehab the night before the 2015 postseason. Early in my career, alcohol was a coping mechanism after losing my dad and navigating life’s ups and downs. Having the courage to tell somebody about my addiction changed my life. My thoughts go out to anyone facing their own journey. Just know you’re not alone and asking for help makes all the difference. Thank you to everyone who supported me along the way.

@hankrsmith And a wonderful example of humility this weekend, at no point was this conference EVER about President Oaks, and the way he paid sincere respect to President Nelson was moving and powerful. The story of the death of his father was a tender look at the heart of a prophet.

Burn in hell, Sinclair. Alongside Charlie Kirk.
Sinclair, Inc.@WeAreSinclair

Sinclair Says Kimmel Suspension is Not Enough, Calls on FCC and ABC to Take Additional Action Sinclair’s ABC stations to Air Special in Remembrance of Charlie Kirk During Jimmy Kimmel Live! Friday Timeslot Sinclair, the nation’s largest ABC affiliate group, objects to recent comments made by Mr. Kimmel concerning the assassination of Charlie Kirk. As discussed with ABC earlier today, Sinclair decided to indefinitely preempt Jimmy Kimmel Live beginning tonight. Following these discussions, ABC suspended production of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” “Mr. Kimmel’s remarks were inappropriate and deeply insensitive at a critical moment for our country,” said Vice Chairman Jason Smith. “We believe broadcasters have a responsibility to educate and elevate respectful, constructive dialogue in our communities. We appreciate FCC Chairman Carr’s remarks today, and this incident highlights the critical need for the FCC to take immediate regulatory action to address control held over local broadcasters by the big national networks.” Sinclair’s ABC stations will air a special in remembrance of Charlie Kirk this Friday, during the Jimmy Kimmel Live! timeslot. The special will also air across all Sinclair stations this weekend. In addition, Sinclair is offering the special to all ABC affiliates across the country. Sinclair will not lift the suspension of Jimmy Kimmel Live! on our stations until formal discussions are held with ABC regarding the network’s commitment to professionalism and accountability.   Sinclair also call upon Mr. Kimmel to issue a direct apology to the Kirk family. Furthermore, Sinclair asks Mr. Kimmel to make a meaningful personal donation to the Kirk Family and Turning Point USA.   Regardless of ABC’s plans for the future of the program, Sinclair intends not to return Jimmy Kimmel Live! to our air until we are confident that appropriate steps have been taken to uphold the standards expected of a national broadcast platform.

This isn’t my strong suit and I don’t even know how to begin to put into words the loss I am feeling right now over the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Charlie wasn’t just a friend — he was like a little brother to me - and to millions of people around the world - he was a true inspiration. He was one of the most courageous, principled men I’ve ever known, and he lived every day with purpose. His faith in God was unshakable, his love for Erika was inspiring, and the way he adored and cared for his two beautiful kids showed the kind of man he truly was. Charlie dedicated his life to something bigger than himself. He fought tirelessly for this country, for the values that make America great, and for the next generation. The impact he had on young people — reaching them in masses, giving them courage to stand up, to think for themselves, and to fight for freedom — is immeasurable. There is no question that Charlie’s work and his voice helped my father win the presidency. He changed the direction of this nation. Charlie was never a threat to anyone. He was civil, he was kind, he listened and responded with respect. The only “threat” he ever posed was that he was incredibly effective. He was a powerful messenger of truth, and people heard that truth. That’s what made him a target. This loss is absolutely devastating — not only for Erika and the kids, but for our country. We’ve lost a leader, a fighter, and a man whose character and conviction were rare. Too rare. To think that his life was cut short by a brutal, heinous, evil act is beyond comprehension. It is horrible and it is heartbreaking. Moments like this remind us just how fragile life is. We can’t wait to tell people how much they mean to us — we can’t admire them in silence. Charlie knew he was loved, but I want to say it again: he was a brother to me, and I will carry that with me forever. I know Charlie’s legacy doesn’t end here. He poured into millions of young people who will carry forward the torch he lit. He built something that will outlast him, because it was grounded in faith, in truth, and in courage. And as his friend, I will never forget him. I’ll honor him by loving boldly, speaking truth without fear, and continuing his spirit of courage. His fight lives on in all of us who loved him. This is an unimaginable loss. For me, for his family, for everyone who loved him, and for America. Rest in peace, brother. You will be missed more than words can ever say — but your legacy will never be forgotten and we will keep fighting the good fight.

@stoolpresidente I looked up “Charlie Kirk’s worst statements” and I gave when it became clear he’s just a conservative. There are no statements that “kill people” he’s not a Nazi and this is sickening on every level.

Truly an unhinged rant from a lefty lunatic. Imagine saying somebody basically deserves to get murdered for their political beliefs just cause you don’t agree with him.

@JDVance It’s not enough to make up for trading faith based morality for money and power, supporting Nazi-like ICE raids, decimating families, and giving cover to sexual predators, but this is decent PR work.

@SeanFennessey Look, you may not like @SeanFennessey being right (why I’m not sure he’s disgustingly likeable, even his sometimes indefensible and bizarre movie takes are enjoyable) but he’s 100% correct. I like the idea it’s good for movies, he may be on to something. I’m paying attention.

CAPTAIN MARVEL, SHAZAM!, and AVENGERS: ENDGAME were released within six weeks of each other in March and April 2019. While school was in session. They grossed a collective $4.3 billion worldwide. It’s a different time. People have to accept this. It’s good for movies long term.

@SeanFennessey I think they just picked a pretty bad week to release this, many kids are already back in school. No holiday weekend in sight, plenty of big competition still in theaters I have a feeling Marvel settled for this window due to IMAX / premium screen availability

@megynkelly 1 is cute. Bondi was NOT alone on Epstein. Trump ran on Epstein promises and Bondi was parroting him. Why give Trump this cover? You’ve become an apologist on his past sex accusations and now this. Why? What am I missing?

There are really only two options: 1. There’s no huge undisclosed there there on Epstein, Bondi misled on it (until she didn’t) & Trump is quick to forgive a loyal soldier for being desperate to get on TV; or 2. There is a scandal that’s being covered up & it’s at his direction.

@IngrahamAngle Not a fan of this liberal ‘scared of ideas’ mindset. What used to be the left’s is now the right’s and it’s funny, Gunn has now been ‘canceled’ by both sides. Skipping Superman as a political statement is meaningless in the extreme.

@PlayoffCeltics The article was making the point that is how he is seen around the league but that it’s silly and he is a legit top five guy. He’s listed 10th because he is injured. But I’m sure they like us getting all worked up and sharing the article!
