Sources across BBC, NYT, Al Jazeera, Iranian state media (Mizan/Tasnim) confirm this. Human rights groups dispute the trials as unfair with alleged torture/coerced confessions. @HenMazzig There is no dehumanization to talk about Israel's crimes. It is not discriminatory to talk about the Israeli genocide. It's a crime and it is not insulting or disrespectful against the Jewish faith in any way, shape of form.

It’s not his exact position that feels so refreshing in this moment. It’s his willingness to speak uncomfortable truths without shying away from nuance. And it’s his refusal to participate in the dehumanization of either side to which so many “artists” have become prone. I wish more artists shared that courage.
