@adamjohnsonCHI He was dead to me when he did an unfunny skit w/Kissinger years ago on his old show. It felt like what it probably was: a humiliation ritual to display the requisite "I can be trusted not to be anti-imperialist" qualities.

Colbert has had on countless democrats who support funding and arming what MSF, HRW and Amnesty International call a genocide but has never once asked any of them any difficult questions about this support. Just the occasional “are you working too hard on a ceasefire?” PR cover.

Ok so I finally watched the whole extended interview of @colbertlateshow and omg this is awful. There’s a part where Brad looks genuinely taken aback by Stephen’s…viciousness? (idk how else to explain it) towards Zohran. The clip going around isn’t even the worst of it.

One of my theories on the insane is that watching pro wrestling is HORRIBLE for them. I think it blurs the line between real and fake, while also incentivizing them to do these dramatic, dangerous things to “get over.” But this stuff has to be 10000000x worse

@DanSchkade The book is titled "Juk Biawsakul, the Prince of Thai Graphic Novels," and the artist is Chulsak Amornwet (aka Juk Biawsakul). Looks like he also illustrated a Captain Marvel lookalike, as well as romance and comedy...
