5 years ago today, 'Roots of ReOrchestrated,' the 6-track EP from @bastille featuring orchestral reworks of their hits, was released. It includes live recordings from Capitol Studios with The Chamber Orchestra of London, including “Glory” and “Good Grief.”

In March 1962, 'Nat King Cole Sings/George Shearing Plays' was released. Recorded in 1961 at Capitol Studios, uniting @natkingcole and George Shearing’s quintet with arrangements by Billy May.

In February 1967, Nat King Cole recorded “L-O-V-E” live with a full orchestra at Capitol Studios in a single afternoon session. Produced by Lee Gillette with a trumpet solo by Bobby Bryant, it became one of his most well-known tracks from his albums.

Cannonball Adderley recorded "Mercy, Mercy, Mercy!" at Capitol Studios on October 20, 1966. While the album was titled "Live At The Club," it was actually recorded at Capitol's Hollywood studio with an invited audience and an open bar.
