The transfer window has closed. Leeds United end it with the effective trade of Facundo Buonanotte for Jack Harrison. Jorgen Strand Larsen was a swing they wanted to take, but Crystal Palace took the price away from them. They are happy to roll with what they have. #lufc

The Mateta thing obviously asks a question of Palace's intentions with Strand Larsen. No suggestion it's off but in reality even if it collapsed AND Wolves decided to accept Leeds' offer it'd come too late.

Mateta to AC Milan, the domino transfer, is now off. But there is still interest in a loan for him elsewhere. JSL to Palace is still on as things stand but a move to #LUFC is now still a (remote) possibility. Likely factors to take into account: Wolves would need to drop their price, Mateta would have to be staying at Palace & Piroe would have to find a move he would be happy with. Meanwhile… there’s a rumour that DCL has a thigh strain. Another chaotic deadline day for Leeds.
