@CCguerilla @GuyCurtis10 That’s why I said that panels are great for appeals but not necessarily the most efficient or effective way to make decisions. But UoM will figure that out for themselves.

@james_s_bedford @MishMei But all assessment types have their limitations. There is no task that is perfect. It’s why I and my co-author colleagues of the TEQSA document Assessment Reform for the Age of Artificial Intelligence have advocated for the second of 2 principles

The Guardian’s recent exposé on Australian universities perpetuates a number of misleading stereotypes. Ie. that all genAI use is fundamentally bad, and that all international students are cheating their way through uni. Also, the solution they propose to all this….exams 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫
