Way more concerned about Quinn and Jack going home to Detroit in a few years and winning a cup with the Wings than the Devils. Entire family lives there, and they grew up huge Wings fans. Wings are a very good team with some great young pieces. Again, I think Quinn will sign here for 3 years. It will be a race to see who gets Jack. If the Wings trade for him or sign Jack, we will eventually lose Quinn. I’m fine overpaying for a Top line center to help Boldy or Kaprizov. You will have to shell out a bunch of draft capital for a player in their prime making 8M for 4 more years like Jack. Billy Guerin doesn’t get stuck on trading a little too much. Hard to respond to your comment. Quinn isn’t signed yet, hasn’t committed, and if he extends it likely matches Jacks contract. Meaning, only a 3 year extension with Quinn. So once again, trading 2 firsts vs 3 1sts is a marginal difference when your picking 30th cause your in the West Finals, have the best Center in franchise history and keeps Quinn and Jack here Long term.
