@kingscoriox I sent in pelliper after using entrainment and he went straight for pelliper just ignoring gyarados, I think the guy was just bad at the game

@kingscoriox I don’t know tbh, he did turn 1 but I protected, I think his mentality was like Rotom is bulky and if u burn Gyarados what can it even do for the rest of the game and u can Ko it whenever u want, I just got lucky with the burn Cure and Ko’d it a turn or 2 later since I outspeed

You learn something new everyday because I didn’t know the ability worked like this

@KingGamur @AshuraDg That is very true tbh, I basically had Araquanid as a hard mega scovillain counter but it ended up becoming a funny support attacker since I originally was using it in trick room alongside mega crabominable, galarian slowbro and sableye

@cbptrash11863 @AshuraDg To be fair if there’s any meta to do this in it’s this one because there’s a grand total of like 4 usuable electric types and 2 of them are named rotom

@Silverphantom44 @KatanoHawk Yh that combo is much stronger than gyarados because both of them work better in trick room, I was just using pelliper for rain so I had tailwind and also I couldn’t be asked to transfer in new pokemon

@Silverphantom44 I was using it as a trick room attacker since it’s basically the trick room equivalent to basculeigon, I was just trying entrainment because it’s rly funny, dropping a bug move to use it

@cbptrash11863 I only thought about using Araquanid as a trick room attacker never like this. Very interesting I'll try it with my Blastoise team

@AshuraDg I would say so Yh, it’s basically just rain but replacing basculeigon with gyarados, the team is extremely weak to electric tho I’ve just gotten lucky with opponents so I wouldn’t say it’s consistent at all

@ZylnorWrath I did I just didn’t start playing competitive until Gen 9 and I only played it briefly in regulation A-B, it’s just an interaction I haven’t tried before

Like I knew of course that water bubble prevents you from being burnt but I didn’t know it cured a burn if you already had it
