Don't compare prices nominally. Don't compare the cost of a product or service in another nation to Nigeria and declare, "Nigeria is cheaper." that wrong I paid $25 to get a trim in a barber shop in the US, which is N30,000; using that norminal methodology, I will conclude that it's cheaper to get a hair trim in Nigeria because average hair trims in Nigeria are far cheaper than N30,000. However, that $25 currently represents only 2% of the federal minimum wage in America but 100% of the legislated minimum wage in Nigeria So which hair trim is cheaper?
