@NealGardner_ Why are you lying Neal? Yes he is getting better which is great, but he is far from complete. Until I see him pass the ball and do elite link up play vs elite teams, I am not sold that he is special.

@BouafifNour Pedri, Rodri and Olmo is the best starting lineup. But De La Fuente will go with his bum boy Fabian Ruiz.

In Spain’s midfield, two positions are fairly settled, one is locked for Pedri, and the other is between Zubimendi and Rodri. But the third spot is completely open, with several strong options. Do you go with Fermín, who is in the best club form? Or Olmo, who delivered an unforgettable performance in the last major tournament? Or Mikel Merino, who has been excellent with the national team recently? And you also can’t forget Fabián Ruiz when he returns. It’s a difficult dilemma, but honestly, you can’t really go wrong with any of them. Each brings something different and would contribute in their own way. Spain’s depth in midfield is just unbelievable.

@BouafifNour Olmo, he is by far the most technical out of the three, and has better link up play than Merino and Fermin. In other words, Olmo is the most Spanish-style player out of the three. Fermin is a good super sub though.

Spain look a million times better when Olmo is the starting 10. Fermin looked good and energetic, but Olmo offers unmatched creativity and creation.

@Consensus__VC @PedTalksSports How is it, he is limited when you actually watch the games. He also gets carried by Yamal and Pedri all the time.

How would you define world class? What qualifies separate a good player from a world class player for you?

@RelixIsMe @PedTalksSports Stat merchant. Dude was carried by Yamal and Pedri, and without them he is nothing. He is a bang average player when you use your eyes instead of reading stats.

@Belawu4 @PedTalksSports Exactly, I am not giving Raphinha or his legions of deluded Barca fans a pass. He is the most average Barcelona "superstar" I've ever seen.

Raphinha wasn't great but everyone knows hes a system player at Barca. A good player who has been elevated to great because of Flick Vini is supposed to be the one better than neymar, the man reviving joga bonito, the greatest LW on the planet. The expectations are different

@PedTalksSports You are clearly a wise man, and I agree with a lot of what you say. But please, Raphinha has been hyped to a crazy degree by Barcelona fans. He deserves all criticism he gets for doing absolutely nothing on the pitch. Such an average and limited player.

Brazil miss Bruno Guimaraes BIG time. He is FAR more important to the Brazilian team than Raphinha.

Brazil are FARRRR better without Raphinha, who offers nothing offer than bad ball control and pressing. If I'm Ancelotti, I'm using Raphinha as an impact player from the bench. He simply does not have the ability to be the main man.

I've always said it - Raphinha is so bang average as a footballer. Can barely dribble a football. All he does is press and run onto balls.

Raphinha and Martinelli are the least Brazilian players I've ever seen. Both have incredibly limited skillsets.
