🇹🇷🚨Erdogan managed a stress-trolling test for the heads of delegations at the NATO summit in Ankara. ▪️The leaders were given personalized combat revolvers with cartridges as gifts. A gift in an Eastern style. ▪️Then came the funniest part: people who talk about "defending every inch of NATO territory" suddenly realized they couldn't just take the gift revolver home. ▪️Britain, Keir Starmer I received the gift, but didn't import it to Britain: according to local laws, a combat revolver is a problem. The weapon remained in Turkey and must be deactivated (blanked). ▪️ Belgium, Bart de Wever Upon arrival in Brussels, I handed the revolver over to the airport police. ▪️Poland, Karol Nawrocki The revolver is stuck in customs at Warsaw Airport. ▪️Netherlands The Dutch revolver was sent to the embassy in Ankara. Before that, the weapon must be deactivated. ▪️ António Costa His revolver will be imported into Belgium strictly according to legal procedures, then blanked and stored for safety reasons. ▪️ Canada, Mark Carney The weapon was handed over to Canadian police, and it will also be blanked. The cartridges were left in Turkey, and the revolver itself will probably later be placed in a museum. ▪️Norway, Jonas Gahr Støre The Norwegians didn't even take the gift home: with the consent of the Turkish Foreign Ministry, they returned the revolver to the Turkish side in Ankara. ▪️The others apparently brought the weapons into the country illegally, or details about them will soon emerge.
