butterflies symbolize change, represent cycles, growth, and becoming something entirely new after transformation.
this charlotte flair feels nothing like the one from last year’s wrestlemania.
#Wrestlemania
@BackupHangman Was it the best show ever? No. Was it entertaining? Yes. Noticing a trend with the negative discourse about night 1. Seems to be swayed by the same people who use Cagematch.
Watched #Wrestlemania Saturday with friends with phone usage at a minimum...we all had a blast all night. Too bad the IWC pissants on here have become critics and forgotten how to be fans.
@ChandranTheMan@realrosswayman Wrong again. There’s been plenty of Manias in stadiums now and off the top
of my head (the recent ones anyway) this was the worst.
I was at WrestleMania live and had a great time watching the show.
Then I check Twitter and see people timing matches and breaking down “in-ring minutes” like it’s a lab experiment.
Meanwhile, the Super Bowl only has about 11 to 18 minutes of actual gameplay in a 3+ hour broadcast (that’s a true stat BTW, look it up), and you don’t see diehard NFL fans obsessing over that.
The way some wrestling fans consume the product is insane.
@ChandranTheMan@jimmykorderas Horrible take. We’re supposed to be happy with all the Netflix commercials, and endless video packages, and short matches (dull, predictable matches)? Turns out this isn’t the Super Bowl and we watch the NFL for different reasons that we watch WWE for. Sorry, Night One stunk,
On the last day of the season, we're so close to getting Round 5 of this storied playoff rivalry. In a row.
I asked Cale Makar before the season if the current playoff format locks in too many repeat matchups.
"I mean, if you're from Edmonton or L.A., I'd say so."
WWE Superstars who I think could potentially be released after Mania:
- Andre Chase
- Apollo Crews
- Creed Brothers
- Cruz Del Toro
- Elton Prince
- Erik
- Grayson Waller
- Ivar
- Joaquin Wilde
- Josh Briggs
- Malik Blade
- Niko Vance
- Noam Dar
- Tyra Mae Steele

Before social media, WWE pay per view results were a secret. Fans who did not order the show would go to work or school Monday morning still not knowing who won. Unless you knew someone who ordered the PPV, the only way to find out was to watch Raw that night. WWE booking depended on that suspense. It was a completely different product.

@arielhelwani Terrible take. The Snooki match was a throwaway storyline and match. It was a few minutes. Now they’ve got McAfee and Jelly Roll all over the show and they’re around in the World Title storyline.
“I feel like celebrities have always been a part of WrestleMania. Remember when Snooki came in 2012 and that match? We could go back to when a lot of other celebrities were brought in.
Celebrities have always been a part of wrestling... Celebrities are streamers as well. I think it brings more eyes to the product, as well as people who may not watch.” - @TheCJPerry
All these years later, Dion Phaneuf can finally tell the story. @EricFrancis checks in with the NHL legend on what exactly went down in 2004. sportsnet.ca/nhl/article/no…
The thought of Vancouver exploring the idea of MLB, instead of sorting out the Whitecaps situation is quite absurd.
Vancouver simply isn’t a worthwhile market for MLB at this point — there’s already a strong Jays and Mariners following.
