Kyler isn’t fully developed and isn’t mediocre lol so answer me this why did the Vikings try to sign Kyler to a 2 year deal? How has it shown KOC is only good with vet QBs? Because a bust didn’t develop? So I guess Shanahan can’t develop qbs because Lance didn’t work out my god you’re dumb

Best case for Kyler is he is better than he ever has been and there is no guarantee the Vikings will be sble to keep him.

Brother he had 4/5 starters almost every game besides the last two he had 3/5 and that’s not true at all they tried running the ball but you can’t run every play when you’re down also teams were loading the box forcing them to have JJ beat them. KOC didn’t adjust his offense? Did we watch the same games he tried plenty of different schemes he was so limited to what he could run because JJ can’t run plays across the middle. JJ didn’t look good he was fine against Washington, played well against Dallas and then regressed against the giants and was horrible against GB backups

Those other qbs were either in horrible situations or showed a ton of upside with elite skills that stand out. JJ was in a fantastic situation and didn’t show any elite traits his ceiling is a Teddy bridgewater colt McCoy like career. So teams were dumb to move off of Lance, Rosen, Lynch etc sometimes guys just don’t have it and JJ showed nothing to that he would be a good franchise qb in this league

@DBAR_67_ @DomClare There’s countless other examples of QBs needing more than 10 games to develop. The point is we have no idea if JJ is a bust or not. KOC knows he needs to make the playoffs to save his job so he is too risk adverse to allow JJ to start this year. He’s isn’t thinking long term

@cgdeterman @DomClare Yes and it was a mistake to hang on to him for that long it’s better to admit your mistakes early and move on just like teams did with Lance, Rosen, AR, Paxton lynch the list goes on. Seems like the Vikings agree as well because JJ is most likely qb3 this year if he’s on the team
