Car in for repair. Its already had a front clip put on it by someone. They did a beautiful job lining up the tubes up and blending their joints. Can anyone tell me why the welds are so easily spotted on this old tubing? I will ship the first person with the correct answer a Ripper t shirt

Replacing hip rails on a midget again for someone who was turned away from a @USACNation race for the tubing being .065 wall. In my 20+ yrs ive replaced zero hip rails damaged in a midget crash. Still waiting for a logical explanation as to how this makes the chassis safer. Anyone at @USACNation, @Xtreme_Outlaw, or Badger care to respond???? 🤷🏻‍♂️ I get paid either way but it does seem senseless
