You supported Trump knowing he was racist. You just thought he wouldn’t be racist against you.
Hindu American Foundation@HinduAmerican

We are deeply disturbed by @POTUS sharing this hateful, racist screed targeting Indian and Chinese Americans. Endorsing such rants as the president of the United States will further stoke hatred and endanger our communities, at a time when xenophobia and racism are already at an all time high. We ask @realDonaldTrump to reconsider, delete this post & recognize the indelible contributions of Asian Americans to our great country.

I travelled to Madhubani, Bihar to report on the brutal killing of Roshan Khatoon and what I found is deeply disturbing. On 25 February 2026, during the month of Ramadan, Roshan Khatoon was tied to a pole and mercilessly beaten by more than 20 people, including men and women, while she was fasting, after she went to the village head’s house to resolve a dispute. Her family says that when she asked for water, she was instead forced to drink a mixture of alcohol and urine, an act they describe as deliberate humiliation because she was a Muslim woman. She succumbed to her injuries on 1 March. What followed raises even more serious questions. Instead of immediately ensuring medical care and justice, police allegedly took Roshan Khatoon and her husband to the Police station while she was critically injured and demanded ₹50,000 for their release. The family says they were eventually released after 5–6 hours after paying ₹4,000. Nineteen people have been named in the FIR. Yet, nearly a month later, only one arrest has been made. Her family alleges that the accused are being shielded due to political backing from BJP and JDU leaders. Meanwhile, even after weeks, the postmortem report has still not been released. A woman was lynched, humiliated in the most inhuman way, and a month later, justice remains nowhere in sight. @bihar_police #JusticeForRoshanKhatoon

The film Santosh, which exposes the harsh realities of society, police brutality, caste discrimination and misogyny has been banned by India’s censor board, while propaganda-driven movies like Dhurandhar are being promoted and allowed to run.

"Farm work is typically allotted along caste-class nexus. Without employment guarantee, Dalit households are excluded from such work and would therefore have to migrate for work. Before they could come back to the village to find work, but this is not possible anymore." Mahantesh

You are one of the dumbest people on earth, my district is literally a majority white district. Your conspiracy theories are laughable and should have no place in a society that cares about facts.
Elon Musk@elonmusk

This has been happening for years. Ilhan Omar is the most obvious example. A large number of relatively recently arrived Somalis will elect only a Somali to Congress in that Minnesota district. This is much more subtle, but just as bad, in many other parts of America.

You don’t have to look to the US to witness the horror of xenophobic state violence. A Bengali Muslim family from Odisha was pushed back & forth FOUR times across the India-Bangladesh border. This photo here of the family is a metaphor of our times. scroll.in/article/108987…

What is the intersection of machine learning, causal inference, and economics? What are promising avenues for research at this intersection? I just drafted a new talk exploring these questions: maxkasy.github.io/home/files/sli… Thoughts and comments welcome!
