It’s also a key part of why Michael and Susan Dell are making a $750 million commitment to @UTAustin, bringing their lifetime giving to The University of Texas to more than $1 billion. This new investment will support the establishment of the new UT Dell Campus for Advanced Research and the new UT Dell Medical Center to advance human health. It will also provide significant support for undergraduate student scholarships, student housing and UT’s Texas Advanced Computing Center, one of the leading supercomputing research centers in the nation. This is a direct investment in how people live — helping more people get better care sooner, opening pathways for students into high-demand fields like science, AI, and health, and contributing to a stronger, more dynamic economy and a thriving life sciences hub in Austin.
