NEW: Violent far-left activists with ties to Antifa disrupted WA Governor Bob Ferguson's press conference in Seattle. The militants tried to hide in the crowd before making a scene inside El Centro de la Raza. They were swiftly escorted out by police. These radical leftists want surveillance cameras removed from public property because they claim federal immigration authorities can access the recordings at any time. That's not true. UPDATE: Thursday morning, six protesters charged for disrupting a Seattle City Council meeting all showed up for their arraignment in Municipal Court. But none of them faced a judge. Instead of going through this formality, their attorneys requested cases be moved forward to a pretrial hearing on May 6. Aidan Carroll Lauren Kay Iris Bordman Jonathan Duyker Rosario Lopez Hernandez Bennett Haselton I missed Kay and Duyker. Hernandez, Carroll, and Haselton did not want to comment. But I did catch up with Bordman's public defender.
Big Day in Seattle Municipal Court. Five out of six people will be arraigned Thursday morning after being arrested and charged for criminal trespass back in February. They're accused of disrupting a Seattle Council meeting during a migrant protest.

I spent a whole day visiting the Seattle daycares featured in my @NRO article with @abigailandwords about inexplicable spending by @waDCYF . Most did not answer when I knocked. If there were children inside, thick curtains blocked any natural sunlight for them. Neighbors were unaware of daycares a one-minute walk away. Confused residents said that they had no knowledge of a daycare at their address, to which Washington State paid nearly $500,000 last year. WA State Attorney General Nick Brown said that he would focus on prosecuting journalism like this instead of investigating welfare fraud. The State Auditor stated that DCYF records are so bad that millions of dollars over the past four years have been un-auditable. This violates the terms of their federal funding. NEW: CA SOS says there are crimes in Higby’s tape and they are launching criminal investigation For doubters, and I assume that’s all of you, they did in fact prosecute one case in 2019. This is widespread and they’re hundreds of examples on tape. They may have no choice here.
