No, they don’t. Red states are a lot more self reliant than the blue states are. Costs of livings are radically different. What people expect governments to do are different. California is a financial disaster and a national embarrassment with all the fraud and waste. I know because I live there. I pay tens of thousands of dollars in tax to that state per year and it’s all pissed away.

That’s terrorism. In certain parts of America they would have been shot by a civilian who was carrying a gun (and probably one they could not see). Police may or may not shoot. Keep in mind that every US police officer carries a pistol on their person. Media would try to justify it being less bad than it is. They commonly dig up pictures of the criminals when they were teenagers and use those. Usual filthy actions.

@sachimiriho When I read that it didn’t feel right. I asked my friend frog about it and he said only some elderly men use it. I’m glad I was not fooled. If anything, it comes off as gay to Americans, I think.

This will be crude, but I can explain the idiom for you. Some people are very uptight. One might describe them as having a stick up their ass. You know, if you had one in your ass, you might be rather uptight, too. It’s meant to be offensive. It’s usually used to describe a third person, or directly among friends. They are saying chopsticks only because you are Japanese. No one says “take the fork out of your ass”, where a fork is the equivalent of a pair of chopsticks. We also tell men who might be considered behaving effeminately to “get the dick out of their ass”, too. I hope this helps.

Hello @51Yukkoro. I have another tea drink to share. This is a mixture of black tea and lemonade. It is called an “Arnold Palmer”, named after the man who invented it. They are very refreshing. I have a picture before and after I stirred it. Also, I posted about a burger I ate today.

You must ban it. We rely on societal norms to filter what is appropriate behavior and speech. Unless the behavior or speech is criminal our laws can do nothing. We cannot even create such a law, as it would rightly be found to be unconstitutional. America is having success by ignoring stupid and useless foreign opinions (I am not saying this about yours!). Japan must do the same for its own survival.
