If you keep showing up to work every day, grinding away at tasks that have become unpleasant or difficult, then everyone suffers. As a leader, it's important to distinguish between true burnout and idle complaints. When you know it's the real deal, you have to act.

For those seeking management roles, maybe reconsider being an IC. This is tough advice, as it can be a career-limiting decision. However, look for companies that have advancement paths for recognize career growth for both managers and ICs.
