Overlooked fact about different ballflights: It may or may not be obvious that these are mirror images in trajectory and distance, not just shape. Many of the videos I saw just focused on shape. The secret? Don't force it. Use different clubs. Hooded smash 9 and flopped soft 6

This work would be impossible without the insanely sensitive nano-elemental analyzer that @chrisjunium developed at Syracuse. It sips VERY tiny quantities of nitrogen from the shell after burning the powder, enabling us to conduct these measurements!

With the course clearly giving it up, one way to get people invested in the course would be to stop showing every putt from above - get on the ground with camera angles and tech to show the undulations in the greens. Some of these shots are turning the course into 2D 😤

@deep_fried_egg A handful of anti-trust people are looking at the "Framework" of the deal and also the language being used about "kill a competitor" and are baffled as to what would actually pass muster considering the two were just involved in an anti-trust lawsuit.

The AQI readings I get through my phone are the same as this morning, but the yellowness readings I get through my office window have gone from vague pallor to full sepia.

@RyanMaue Takes don’t have to result in mortality and that’s not the specific definition. It can be an unintentional approach that is too close to an endangered species like right whales. It can be a non lethal ship strike or it can be a close approach for research purposes.

To clear up any confusion, even if it was shown that wind industry killed many endangered whales, it doesn't matter. The federal government approved "takings" or a certain mortality each year. Offshore wind needs to happen for blue states to meet their green energy or decarbonization goals. The climate crisis supercedes all other concerns.

Why are so many whales dying along US East Coast? Climate change. Wind power exploration is immune from blame. “The culprit is a changing climate, and our inability societally to get it under control,”  Shawn LaTourette, NJ Dept of Env Protection Commissioner (NJDEP) said.
