Another dispersal notice from authorities near the encampment could be heard across the  lawn of Dickson Plaza, which urged protesters to exit via the pathway between Royce Hall and Kaplan Hall. “You risk serious injury,” an officer said through a megaphone.

It appears a dispersal order is once again being issued via megaphone over the encampment. Protesters are chanting back “We’re not leaving.”

As the Palestine solidarity encampment braced for a sweep of the area, campus operations were limited, police officers mobilized on campus and thousands of students came to express support for the participants of the encampment. dailybruin.com/2024/05/01/pal…

Individuals inside the encampment are claiming that a dispersal order has been issued. The Daily Bruin is unable to confirm those claims.
