I hope everyone is paying very close attention to what is being said here
The CEO of Rainmaker, admits to not only cloud seeding in the area where the Texas Flooding is happening but it wasn’t 2 days before
He says very clearly, they suspended operations THE DAY BEFORE the flash flood warnings
“Our meteorologists actually proactively suspended operations a day before the National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning. So we were ahead of the curve”

People nationally wonder why Texans are obsessed with @HEB.
It’s because they are the physical manifestation of the motto of Texas: Friendship.
They leap into action, no questions asked to help.
If you want to know what good corporate culture looks like, this is it.

When people outside of Texas ask why we’re so loyal to a private company like @HEB…this is the reason. Every disaster we have, they beat the Red Cross there and do so much to help. Born and raised Texas right here!

This tweet got a lot of interaction.
I wanted to address a few key points to creating this model of a School-Wide Summer Training Program:
1. Hire a Qualified S&C Coordinator to be in charge of programming. Preferably one for Boys AND Girls. Pay them a stipend.
2. Pay sport coaches hourly to show up and help. Rotate them throughout the month and maximize their strengths.
3. Set a specific time (Ex. 8:00-9:30am) for training. Sports-specific work happens outside of that time.
4. Get input from sport coaches on metrics that matter most to them. Involve them in the process.
5. Build programming that addresses all key areas: Sprint, Jump, Throw, Lift. Don't just destroy them in the Weight Room.
6. Programming should reflect training age. Progress accordingly. Freshman shouldn't be Maxing out first day "to get a baseline"....
7. Record, Rank, and Publish data to show improvement to sport coaches. Adjust programming as necessary.
8. Find the Minimum Effective Dose to move the needle. If you go 2 hrs, try 1.5 hrs. If you go 4 days, try 3 days.
9. Make it fun. Create competition. It doesn't have to be a GRIND!
10. Rest and Recovery should be scheduled in systematically. 3 or 4-day weekends every week. 7-10 days off in the middle and end of summer. Kids will still get 8 training weeks.
I'm working on...
"The Ultimate School-Wide Summer Training Program"
...Stay tuned!

“Turn the Page” is a song by American rock artist Bob Seger, first released in 1973 on the album Back in ’72. The song is often cited as one of the quintessential “road songs” in rock music.
