No. You do not need publication to apply for the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship. I did not have any when I applied and i got in. Your application is reviewed holistically. So every other part of your application documents matters
ObinnayaDplaymaker😜@Obi1ofAmandugba

@Ay0Anjorin Please do you need to have publications on the subject area to be able to apply for the scholarship?

there are at least two top tier law firms that recruited strictly on the basis of referral this year. Like every single person in there today got in through referrals.
Big Sis🦄💜✨@The_Barr_OluT

Do you know that there are companies that primarily hire from internal referrals? Someone inside has to bring you in. You’re wasting your time applying from that link on their website. Or sending that email to recruitment@xxx. They don’t even check it. Build your network♥️✨

esquire, óbum.@Obumnemetg·
There are final year students in the university today who don’t know or have even heard anything about ‘Graduate Trainee’. There are corp members today who totally have no idea about company recruitments in Nigeria and they somehow hope they will end up working in a big company. Nothing beats access to information >>>>

Your chance of making a first class is high if you do your externship in the north. Reason, they will give you all the time you need to read to grab a red scroll. Also count Fridays out of working days.
Fortunate (Call to Bar arc)@Fortunate_48

during our NLS externship I devised a very risky strategy to "survive" and have enough time to read. I can't spill here in the open air. 😂 but if you can go to the North for your externship, my dear, by all means GO!

MOST AFRICANS ARE DELUDED One of the problems in Africa is deep rooted in the lies leaders like Julius, Nkrumah, Gani, Fela, etc told Africans What is the lie? That Africa is Rich Africa is NOT rich. Does Africa have the potential to be rich? Yes. But is it rich? NO! Being rich is value based. What value have you added to the crude oil or diamond underneath you? If the value is Zero, then you are not rich from Crude oil or the diamond beneath you. This lie told by African leaders who are basically communists is why you can easily run into a Nigerian or a Congolese who will say "Nigeria is so rich that the citizens are not supposed to work to feed" Who told you Nigeria is rich? Who told you Congo is rich? This mentality bred entitlement in us. This is why you have a South African on TV saying their govt. should pay each of them 1million Rand a year for free because "South Africa is rich" For context, In 2025 California generated a total revenue of 212 Billion US Dollars and Nigeria as a whole did below 20 Billion US Dollars in revenue So you need at least 10 Nigeria to match up one California. Does that sound like a rich country to you?

The correct way to write your full name is First name, Middle name(s), then Surname/Last name. For example, if your surname is Bose, your middle name is Taiwo, and your first name is Bimbo, it should be written as: Bimbo Taiwo Bose If you prefer to write your surname first, it should be in this format: BOSE, Bimbo Taiwo (Surname in capital letters, followed by a comma, then other names in lowercase/title case.)

You can also ask the alumni of these scholarships to critique your application materials. But again, be respectful and professional while doing so. Apply once your application materials are ready.

A good statement of purpose should showcase how your past experiences and skills have prepared you for your target program. It should show how the program will help you accomplish your long-term goals. While preparing your application, seek tough-love feedback.

Do not use ChatGPT to draft your statement. It will take you a minute to draft a statement with the help of AI. It will take the admissions committee a second to reject your application.

6: Start preparing your application materials. Most scholarships ask for a statement of purpose or research objectives. This is usually the most important part of your application.

Don't ask people generic questions like I'm looking to get funding for XYZ program, could you help me? Questions like these will make you look unprepared, and people will not respond to your request. Ask short, specific, and to-the-point questions.

Don't by pushy. Never ask anyone to share their application materials like personal statements/research objectives. In many cases, these documents are confidential.
