@oskeeeddie @SpeakmanMatthew They were benched because we tried to play the matchup game, let these guys work. Both young guys with motors, coach them up and things will work. We also cut Sayles and Hendrix before that, sometimes top end salary guys don’t work out either

I think the #ticats did a great job of filling some needs today. Areas of need are still DB, RB, DT and WR. Don't think there are starters on the free agent list for some of those positions

@oskeeeddie @SpeakmanMatthew I would argue that DT is covered with Fox and Kendricks who were monsters last year. Plus we also ran with 3 D ends on second and distance last year. I think we are good on the dline front

@oskeemannyo I disagree with this, Bo drove the field to end up tying the game. We didn’t go for it, because we took the points. Secondly you pay guys on D to make stops which we couldn’t do. This has been our MO all year. Tie game or get leads and cannot close out

JJ Pegues might be the first DT/FB/TE to EVER be selected in the NFL Draft. Pegues reportedly “showed out” in both DL drills as well as FB/TE drills at the NFL Combine today. Several NFL teams reportedly see Pegues as a "chess piece" and want to use him as both a DT on defense and a FB1/TE3 on offense. Over the course of Pegues' college career, he racked up 126 tackles, 5 PD's, and 10 sacks as a DT. As well as 100 rushing yards, 7 rushing TD's, 8 receptions, 58 receiving yards, and 1 receiving TD as a FB/TE. Keep in mind, Pegues weighs NEARLY 330 pounds. The Ole Miss DT/FB/TE is a prospect like we've NEVER seen before 🍿
