My sister who has a PhD in public health and decades of experience trying to help address global health disparities did indeed work for an organization that was focused on doing exactly that. A goal (in addition to addressing corruption and helping feed and treat people around the world USAID shares) Such a burn exposing us for trying to help people. Congrats!

Tax will only be figured as long-term capital gains when he decides to divest of shares/ownership. Often at 15-25% or less. Plus he and other billionaires employ tax profs to hide income

People pay into SS while working far less than they are paid in retirement. It has been a Ponzi scheme that functioned when there were 5 workers for every retiree, but will crash now that we are approaching only 2 workers per retiree. Elon has paid more income taxes than anyone in history; he is not the problem. The problem is folks who insist there must be enough "other people better off than me" who can be tapped to fund programs that no longer are viable. SS is going to have to cap monthly benefits so that the sick/poor continue to get support but the healthy oldsters (like me) continue working while getting a capped SS check.

So let me get this right, people pay for Social Security their entire lives through payroll taxes only for a South African billionaire immigrant to come along and tell those American citizens they aren't allowed to receive money from a system they paid into because he wants to be taxed less?
