@cokeefe9 @billshortenmp @BlockadeAus Is it hard to have a bit of nuance, and acknowledge that maybe both approaches have merit, and can happen in tandem? Or, in the face of disruption and delay (which is the point) do you want to argue that direct action is pointless, ignoring a long history of precedent.

@climacticshow @billshortenmp @BlockadeAus It was a joke. My point was these stunts do nothing for the cause. Launching campaigns that argue against climate inaction, and convince people to vote for climate independents, Greens MPs and Labor MPs is exactly how it should be done in Australia.
