@lzsthw Yes, that does make sense, but does not solve the problem on a systemic level. The big question is: How much effort should self-hosters do? Is it enough to open registrations on git.example.com and share it to friends, or do you need to become a full-time sysadmin?

@codeberg_org Finally, this dynamic subdomain solution also makes it easy to rip any offending content down and have it removed from blocklists. Just delete the DNS record and/or redirect it to a page saying it was removed. Combine that with auto scanning the lists yourself to be proactive.
