Great to see # of active podcasts growing in first half of 2024 (on Apple pods). Total shows too: +50k since January. % of active shows in the 17% to 19% active mark since Jan 2023, and steady on 17% since October Steady couple of years overall for #podcast #creators 💪

@JohnLacey That’s a flippin’ good question…! maybe it’s more about how many players would support a book showing up in your feed and allowing you to do something with it.. 🤔

How many modern podcast hosts / apps would support this?

Mur Lafferty said something on Podcraft about RSS file enclosures being any type of file (like PDFs) and not just the kind of MP3 or MP4 file types modern podcasters use... and I can't stop thinking about it. @colinmcgray @thepodcasthost
