Karoline Leavitt: "we had a very stupid and incompetent leader in this White House for four years who gave away many of our best weapons for nothing, for free, to another country very far away by the name of Ukraine." Honestly, the sheer heartlessness, ruthlessness, and cruelty of saying that while we are still under attack, trying to survive. While entire families are being killed in russian bombings due to a lack of air defense missiles, and when we barely survived last winter’s humanitarian catastrophe caused by russian strikes on our infrastructure. I don’t know... I’m just stunned.

NEWS: Less than 33% of the 1 million Plug-in Hybrid Electric vehicles in Germany plugged in either occasionally or not at all. Just 0.8% of Porsche drivers used electricity for the energy used for driving, for an average of 7kWh over two years. In other words, the average Porsche PHEV driver charged their battery less than 50% of its capacity — once. Toyota PHEV drivers were the highest at ~43%. • Porsche: 0.8% • VW: 24.7% • Volvo: 26.5% • Audi: 26.5% • BMW: 27.0% • Hyundai: 27.5% • Mercedes: 27.7% • Jeep: 27.7% • Kia: 34.8% • Ford: 36.7% • Toyota: 42.8% Studies have previously shown that PHEVs produce about 3.5 times more emissions than their official ratings would suggest. This new study explains why since it directly assesses how much electricity the vehicles gained from charging. (PHEVs, like all hybrids, can operate in a mixed mode, using both gas and electricity. The study used data straight off the vehicles to disentangle the two.) According to real-world data drawn by the Fraunhofer Institute from the vehicles’ onboard computers. techcrunch.com/2026/02/24/its…

Did you know? Legal scholars argue that while the Constitution allows incarceration only as a state punishment, it does not authorize selling that power to private corporations. The Thirteenth Amendment bans slavery except as punishment for a crime, but critics say privatized prisons cross that line by turning human confinement into a for-profit commodity. When bodies become revenue and beds become balance sheets, punishment stops being justice and starts looking like slavery for sale. nacdl.org/Content/Boardo…
