Kinda bums me out that NJO makes such a point of the Vong not being darksiders and that the new generation has a different fight to figure out than Luke had with the empire only for the sith to show back up in the next series

@JAYAS0L0 Yeah I'm not really interested in sith after njo but I think exploring other sects could've been neat + NJO benefits so much from building off the world building of so many standalones, they should've had bunch of one offs before attempting another ongoing

@cometko_ tbh the way it’s handled in dark nest is pretty atypical compared to LOTF; Jacen isn’t the primary antagonist in dark nest, there’s other things at play but LOTF to FOTJ gets a bit burnt out. would have been nice to return to a small bantam era differing villain options post njo.

I do think it's strange how little resolution there was for Tarkin. It feels really strange that Anakin knew his name and was kidnapped by him, but he got no punishment for invading an innocent world I did appreciate the seedlings being little Ghibli creatures tho

Finished! It was pretty okay. I really love Obi-Wan and Anakin's dynamic in this, and this is the most compelling Anakin has been for me in a long time, but the middle section really dragged. The opening and end were good though, and the world building was fun
