The protein drugging playbook is broken for RNA. This is how to fix it. enduratx.com/blog/covalent-… mRNA is a message, not a machine. Its structures shift inside cells, it has no active site to block, and binding in a test tube doesn't predict function in cells. Covalent chemistry changes the equation. It cracked KRAS after 40 years. Now over 50 approved drugs use covalent mechanisms, from aspirin to Paxlovid.

NEW POST: 2-Sigma Problem & AI Tutors The Promised Land for education has been 1:1 tutoring since Aristotle tutored Alexander the Great It's one of the only education approaches that works. But is also the least scalable AI's the first tech to enable it Yet no one's building it

The genomics revolution told us which genes cause disease. What if small molecules could target the genetic message? CRISPR-level precision, in a pill. Endura Insights #1: why the genomics revolution is only half finished. enduratx.com/blog/the-genom…

First @EnduraTx Insights post is up. The genomics revolution is only half finished, and RNA-targeting small molecules are how we complete it.

BREAKING: WHOOP RAISES $575M AT $10.1B VALUATION  I am pleased to announce that we’ve raised $575M at a $10.1B valuation to accelerate our mission of unlocking human performance and healthspan globally. This round was led by Collaborative Fund with participation from 2PointZero Group, Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), Mubadala Investment Company, Abbott, Mayo Clinic, Macquarie Capital, Glade Brook, B-Flexion, IVP, Foundry, Accomplice, Affinity Partners, Promus Ventures, and Bullhound Capital alongside a group of individual investors including Cristiano Ronaldo, LeBron James, Rory McIlroy, Virgil van Dijk, and Mathieu van der Poel. This investor group and this moment reflect a powerful evolution underway for Whoop and the broader healthcare market. Whoop was born in performance - trusted by the best athletes in the world to train, recover, and compete at the highest level. That foundation remains core to who we are. You see that in the iconic athlete investors joining this round.  But it also represents our push into broader health.  In the past 12 months, WHOOP has received medical clearances, launched blood testing, and created a platform that has saved lives. Abbott and Mayo Clinic - two of the most respected and influential institutions in global healthcare - are now investors in Whoop. These are organizations that have shaped modern medicine. Their decision to partner with us is a clear validation of where our technology is headed. Healthcare systems around the world are reactive. For too long, they have waited for people to get sick, then intervene. Chronic disease is rising and costs continue to climb. At Whoop, we believe the future looks fundamentally different. We are building the most powerful, personal, preventive health platform in the world - powered by continuous biometric data, advanced analytics, and AI to help people understand their bodies and improve their health in real time. I am grateful to our team, our members, and our partners for believing in this vision. I’ve been building this company for 14 years and I’ve never been more excited for the future.

The genomics revolution told us which genes cause disease. The next revolution is giving patients a pill that silences those genes. Not a $100K/year biologic requiring regular injections or a $1M gene therapy. A gene-silencing small molecule you can take at home. We're building this at @EnduraTx. Here's how. 🧵

I think this is a slept on but very important post on frontier models and clinical trial outcome prediction, and I think the @PheironAI team is going to have a lot more to show soon.
Thore@buergelt_

Can frontier llms predict clinical trial outcomes? We went deep and here's what we found! tl;dr >current frontier llms are weak biological alpha generators >performance is driven by memorization >the more recent the biology, the weaker the performance blog.pheiron.com/p/llm-bench

Day 4, video #4. This hour-long, zero-shot autonomy video is a route I've done many times: from our London HQ to Heathrow 🇬🇧 Starting in London forced us to build autonomy that could scale. Compared to SF, London has 10x more cyclists, 15x more pedestrians and 20x more roadworks. This is what we've built at @wayve_ai. Check it out!

AI for scientific research continues to rapidly improve 🤖 Watch @TimothyDuignan demo how our chemistry agent used our simulation model, Orb-v3, to compute a crystal's phonon band structure, the microscopic blueprint that controls a material’s thermal properties. This is the kind of task an experimentalist would normally take to a computational chemist and wait days or weeks for the result. With our agent, it only took minutes; 272 messages and 137 tool calls later, it produced results matching the scientific literature. That's only possible because the agent can now check its own work, catch its mistakes, and verify its outputs at a level that produces trustworthy science. Watch the video below for more 👇
