It’s such a crazy coincidence how the people in Hollywood advocating for use of AI are the ones who already have enough resources to exploit it for personal financial gain

I'm disgusted at the number of warehouses and businesses being burned down. It's nowhere near enough and we can do much fucking better.

@maizie_star My dog died in fall of 2024 and it still makes me sad when I drop food. The sadness does get less raw over time, but it's always there

There is something fundamentally wrong with you if you care what other people look like. Seriously, get help. You are a deeply wounded person. You'll be much happier if you heal.

My daughter lives in a big city, and she was telling me about a guy who sat next to her on the train and asked her for her number. She told him she doesn't date men, and he made a "joke" about following her home after she gets off the train. Honestly, we don't hate men enough.

He knows I like Cabot butter, but we started buying store brand/whatever is on sale for money reasons a while back. Men can know these things and remember them, it turns out. Sorry so many of you patriarchy defenders have lame-ass loser husbands who don't even like you, lmao 2/2

The "are men capable of knowing which brand of milk to buy without asking their wife" discourse is funny, because today is my birthday, so my bf is making me dinner, and he just said "I bought the Cabot butter for the sauce even though I don't think we'll be able to taste it" 1/2

I sent ChatGPT an audio file of a series of FART sound effects and asked what it thinks of "my music" and this is what it said

More women under 30 being childless is a good thing, actually! I had my first kid at 20, and that's a very bad idea. No one should do it! Wait until you know more about yourself before you commit to a lifelong responsibility.

"Girl-boss feminism" has a body count — in birth rates. -The fertility rate has declined 25% since 2007 -Almost half of 30 yr old women are now childless; in 1976 it was only 18%. -Births first fell in 1973, then 2007, and with girl-boss feminism they haven't recovered. I love when I sign up for an exercise app, and I fill out all their questions about what I'm trying to accomplish, specifying over and over that my goal is not weight loss, only to have them tell me at the end that based on my weight, my goal should be weight loss. Well, it's not

Wake up, kids We got the dreamers disease. ‘Radical’ comes from a Latin word meaning "root." Because roots are the deepest part of a plant, ‘radical’ came to describe things understood as fundamental or essential. ‘Radical change’ was a change at the root of a system.

The Bush NPR Tiny Desk is great. Joshy Soul playing piano on Glycerine was incredible. If you're a 90s alt rock fan, you'll want to check it out.
