I use Word, especially to make labels for art shows at my partner's studio. Google docs does not have mail merge.
I hate Microsoft (and Gates) with a passion, but it's unfortunately true that Word is a superior piece of software (and don't get me started on how amazing Excel is)

My daughter lives in a big city, and she was telling me about a guy who sat next to her on the train and asked her for her number. She told him she doesn't date men, and he made a "joke" about following her home after she gets off the train. Honestly, we don't hate men enough.

Men aren’t built this way and the sooner these women accept it the better. As the wife you should be the planner and in charge of most errands. If that’s too much mentally for you because you also work a full time job maybe you should admit something about female nature and gender dynamics instead of trying to force a man into the same role as you. Like maybe when she repeated “men just don’t get it” for the tenth time she would’ve caught on by then. No, they don’t get it bc they aren’t wired that way.
