Trying to remember my notes hmrm Matt feels a lot or guilt regarding Guest, indirectly the reasoning for guest having shrapnel scars (Matthew 8 specifically) but wasn’t able to spare himself details, he was only told an accident on behalf of their mission left guest injured.

Matt would have an easier time forgiving people too It’s not like he was the one who experienced it if he’s the next print in the line, but he’s also just used to being treated like shit, safer to just be nice about it.

Wouldn’t take his notebook out, afraid to lose it, Probably takes a smaller logbook out instead. Expedition team or himself might retrieve his old body when necessary for testing and cycling (where possible, some might just be better of left where they lie) He hates doing it tho

How i imagine it he was soo ready to get out there and be productive and he tripped over the ramp, hit his head and didn’t respond so they just cycled him (matt 16)
