Just got out of the theatre.
I will be doing a full review in a few weeks with some former Nintendo devs so here’s a small review for the time being.
The movie is very much for kids, Mario fans and people with ADHD lol.
The music and animation are great and Fox and Yoshi are highlights but my big issue with this movie is the same I had with the previous movie it just doesn’t take a breath, these movies have so much potential but they squander them by filling them with a huge amount of easter eggs, sometimes less is more, maybe making the movie 30 minutes longer would help in future.
Overall if you didn’t like the first movie you won’t like this and if you did you’ll like this one
Personally I’d give it a 6/10
SIDENOTE: Cinema is dying man, there were only 12 people in my theatre

One of the reasons everyone is saying Fox is the best part of the Galaxy movie is because he is, unironically, one of the only elements of it that is organically woven into the plot. His inclusion shockingly makes total sense and he has a reason for being there. He's Han Solo.

The things that make the n64 Zeldas memorable are mostly unintentional consequences of hardware limitations. Remaking Ocarina of Time for current hardware will sap all of that charm out of it. Worse yet, if they redo the cool/weird soundtrack, that will be sad.
