2024 Batch 'C' Stream ll Corps Members To Pass-Out December 18, 2025 The Management of National Youth Service Corps has approved Thursday, December 18, 2025, as the passing-out date for the 2024 Batch C Stream ll Corps Members. The low-key event would feature the distribution of Certificates of National Service to deserving Corps Members in all the Local Government Areas across the country. The activities heralding the event include; Job Advisory and Counselling (JAC), by NYSC and relevant agencies, including signing of final clearance by the Zonal Inspectors. The NYSC Director-General, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, wishes the Corps Members a successful winding-up and passing-out exercise. He also urged them to allow the core values of the Scheme guide them in their post-service relationships as good ambassadors of NYSC. The very people in government who are meant to support the diaspora are now the ones begging for help. Ironically, the diaspora isn’t asking for much just an enabling environment that allows their investments and efforts to thrive. Unfortunately, that environment remains elusive. Many Nigerians in the diaspora have started investing in other countries instead of their own. I know people buying real estate in Rwanda. A friend of mine no longer sends goods to Nigeria; instead, he ships to neighboring countries, saying it’s far easier and more reliable. Another friend, after facing repeated frustrations trying to set up a livestock farm in Nigeria, has now partnered with a Sierra Leonean friend to launch a large-scale farm there instead. Nigeria was his first choice, but it quickly became the least promising. But what if Nigeria actually fixed things? What if the systems worked, the environment was stable, and trust was restored? How many more in the diaspora would come home, not just to visit, but to build, invest, and help move the country forward?
