Camille - Arknights Endfield Day 1 Revenue Performance
The second half of patch 1.2 is here, and with it comes the first limited male banner in Endfield.
Let’s take a look at how Camille performed.
I want to start by saying that Western countries are not really included in this analysis, since the banner had not released there yet when the data was taken. The screenshot was taken at 5:00 PM GMT+2, while the banner released at 7:00 PM GMT+2.
In Asia, Camille’s banner ends its first day as the worst performing banner of the game so far, ranking 24th in Japan and 31st in China.
That said, it is not too far from Mi Fu’s performance, which was 18th in Japan and 26th in China.
This is worth keeping in mind, since Camille is a second-half banner and does not benefit from pass renewal revenue.
However, while Camille’s performance is not far from Mi Fu’s, Mi Fu’s performance wasn't particularly strong to begin with.
I usually consider a gacha to be out of its “honeymoon” phase after version 1.2, so for me, the numbers we are seeing now are the first “real” performances of AKE.
I am curious to see whether things will improve from here or not.
For reference, I will copy and paste the recap I made in my Mi Fu performance post, with all the previous banners:
Leavatain: 6th in JP and 8th in CN
Gilberta: 7th in JP and 22nd in CN
Yvonne: 8th in JP and 17th in CN
Tangtang: 9th in JP and 9th in CN
Rossi: 6th in JP and 25th in CN
Fangyi: 8th in JP and 9th in CN
Mi Fu: 18th in JP and 26th in CN
And now, these are Camille’s rankings:
TOP 5 RANKINGS:
1) Japan: 24th
2) China: 31st
3) Hong Kong: 39th
4) Taiwan: 42nd
5) South Korea: 49th
That said, I also want to mention that it is surprising to see Endfield out of the rankings in so many Western countries.
This could mean that the game has lost a significant amount of interest in those regions.
These are not Camille’s rankings, since the banner had not released there yet, but rankings usually go up a bit in the days before a banner ends.
Being out of the rankings in many of these countries could suggest that the game does not have a huge constant flow of revenue throughout the patch, or at least that it did not have one during Mi Fu’s banner.
Another possibility is that Endfield has a stronger day one revenue focus compared to other games, although I honestly doubt that.
Still, I will look into it to see whether there is any data that could support that idea.
I will probably make a follow up post tomorrow or later with the global rankings.
I think that would only be fair.
I will also include the appmagic global grossing ranking when western revenue comes, if it will be lower than it is now for some reason (Asian revenue starts to go down), I'll just post the one I took earlier.
I would also like to listen opinions about AKE state of the game and improvements y'all would like to see to the game, I'm a huuuuuuge tourist of AKE so I'm not the right person that should give feedback to the game but I'm sure there are "real" AKE players reading this post.
To end this, I'm thinking of preparing similar revenue performance recap graphs like the ones I made for ZZZ for GI, HSR, Wuwa and AKE.
It will take some time but I think it will help with the future posts.
