@LTULNK @ChrisDunkerLJS Isn’t the MUTCD just that… guidance but not the exact bible on transportation safety? When it is interpreted as the exact reason, there may be cases that warrant some interpretation and wiggle room to fit the needs of the community.

Anybody else go exploring little Omaha oddities in their spare time? Finally got over to the Dodge Street Subway - wouldn’t it be great if we took a lesson from 1934 and created more pedestrian infrastructure?

@JoyceVondr16430 I have one of those but since it is on private property I had to have someone install it. Many of the businesses along N. 78th St, very accessible by bike, say the property owner won't install bike racks. Years ago, we could get signs that said "bike friendly business."

I believe Omaha has a great program where the city will come and install bike racks - but only if the business requests it!! Omaha businesses need to step it up!

Businesses in Omaha need to step it up with the bike racks. With all the B-Cycle stations, trail system & bike racks on buses expect more business from people who use biking as a modality. or not. Target 72nd/Dodge.

My insurance company told me that my car is a total loss from hail damage. There are a lot of dents, but they’re pretty small, and the car is still in great condition mechanically. The best thing to do is take the insurance check and just keep driving it as-is, right?
