“A REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT COULD STACK THE SUPREME COURT WITH JUSTICES WHO WILL RIP AWAY ALL OF THE PROGRESS WE’VE MADE.”—Hillary Clinton in 2016. Again she was right. She deserves to be respected
The face of someone who’s devoted their life to service, science and space exploration needing to listen to some draft-dodging, out-of-shape bozo brag that he easily could’ve been an astronaut.
Einfach so.
So you’re telling me that a man in Arkansas raped and impregnated a 15 year old girl who was forced to carry and birth his child… only got probation and a $690 restitution fine to the child because “he was drunk at the time”.
Yeah. Protect the children, right?
TRUMP: "We need $2 billion a day to reopen the Strait of Hormuz."
🇺🇸US Senator: "Wait, wasn't the Strait of Hormuz already open before the war? Then why did we start the war? You created a crisis out of thin air for no reason."
Meloni cooks Trump again
Trump - “Italy was not on our side, so in a possible situation, we will not be on their side."
Meloni - “Italy cannot be part of any organization in which children and women are massacred for the sake of interests."
Today’s Supreme Court decision effectively guts a key pillar of the Voting Rights Act, freeing state legislatures to gerrymander legislative districts to systematically dilute and weaken the voting power of racial minorities - so long as they do it under the guise of “partisanship” rather than explicit “racial bias.” And it serves as just one more example of how a majority of the current Court seems intent on abandoning its vital role in ensuring equal participation in our democracy and protecting the rights of minority groups against majority overreach.
The good news is that such setbacks can be overcome. But that will only happen if citizens across the country who cherish our democratic ideals continue to mobilize and vote in record numbers - not just in the upcoming midterms or in high profile races, but in every election and every level.
