Tark found him on the streets in about 1986 but unfortunately Daniels could not read. Somehow got him through a JC college and signed him to UNLV, but Daniels quickly found a lot of crack cocaine in Las Vegas and never played college ball. Tark ended up tracking him down in the mid 90s and brought him to the NBA with the Spurs. It was kinda like Majerus’ love affair with Travis Spivey.
