A first look at an apparent tungsten pellet from the U.S. strikes on Lamerd, Feb. 28. PrSM is designed to detonate above target and disperse thousands of these pellets outward. Our analysis shows they killed at least 21 people, including girls who were at volleyball practice.

Exactly 50 years after Palestinian Land Day, Israel's Knesset had passed the Death Penalty for Palestinians Law.

Rare footage (no sound) from Land Day 1976 in Deir Hanna and Nazareth. The short clip shows a tiny sample of the violent repression carried out by Israeli security forces that day. The house the police are breaking into, in Nazareth, is the home of Palestinian poet, writer, MK and mayor of Nazareth at the time, Tawfiq Ziad. The police came to arrest him while he slipped out from the back entrance. The woman blocking the main entrance is Naila, Tawfiq's wife. The elderly woman going out of the side door is his mom, Nuzha. The video was taken by a CBS photographer and saved in AP's archives.
