No one wants to defend Jokić’s MVP more than me. The NBA completely screwed us with our schedule. We knew after the Memphis game was cancelled they’d put it in the worst possible spot for us. That said with all the turnovers lately I can’t defend the mvp anymore but that’s ok!

@1jeffnelson @JaredWeissNBA First of all, there's nothing wrong with load management. 80 games a season is hurting players. Second if your contribution is so meaningful that you can still win the MVP award playing fewer games and other people that means you're better not worse.

There is no way the 65-game rule should still be there next year. It is clearly a terrible rule and as I have said all along, it will have a big negative impact on long term legacy when great players have emptier award resumes because they played like 6 less games than someone not as good. Guys dropping out of the MVP and All-NBA race because they are just short of an arbitrary line that their competitors are just above is BS.

This Is the game that swung me. I don't think this Nuggets team will become what I thought they'd be. Poor discipline, leadership, toughness. All the potential to be special but something is off if you can't win against a team trying to lose when your season is on the line
