@Top100Rick We get enough bad breaks out there. Nice to have a few good ones here and there. I’m all for the “through the green” rules.

I don’t know how to fix this golf rule and maybe there isn’t a way to fix it. But it just feels so wrong. It can literally be a full or half stroke reward for finding a sprinkler head. Something can be legal and be ethically wrong. That’s what this is.

@droid58 @Top100Rick There’s no distinction in the rules between rough, fairway, fringe, etc. It’s all “through the green.”

@Top100Rick If it’s in the rough it has to stay within a club length but remain in the rough no closer to the hole. The rough and fairway shouldn’t be taken as the same. Why wouldnt some version of that fix it?
