@v4msu25 @MoneybaggMSU I’d argue it’s not recruiting over anyone , Izzo almost never starts freshman to begin with and McCulloch probably needs another year before he’s ready to start. Getting a one year guy to go chase a natty and give those two a year of pressure free development only makes sense
English

@MoneybaggMSU But do you think he will swallow his pride, make a transfer one of the highest paid guys on the team and recruit over an incoming guy like Taylor?
English

Obviously it sucks to see Michigan be this good, but having anti Izzo takes because of it is pathetic.
Need to spend our resources on a big time center this offseason, but it’s very possible we wouldn’t have the resources for it to even be a discussion if it weren’t for Izzo.
pivot tables@pivot_tables
And thankfully we do it the right-school way! We are so blessed to have Tom Izzo
English

@DooleyBrad @daily_msu “You’re fanbase is small bc you participate in rivalry banter” - you
Clearly you have nothing of any actual value to say, so have a nice night
English

@dalhoon_ @daily_msu You should be familiar with the asterisk
Im not triggered it’s considered flattery
When I see OSU or msu do that
Just shows how small the 2 fanbases really are
English

He will not be coming to MSU
College Basketball Content@CBBcontent
Kansas transfer Flory Bidunga’s asking price is around $5 million. The big man market is cooked.
English

Then*
And I see we’re moving the goalposts again since you have no actual counter point to make here.
But, since you asked why I call them scUM instead of Michigan it’s bc it’s just a rivalry thing and I think it’s funny. You (and other Michigan fans) being triggered by it is exactly why I do it
English

@dalhoon_ @daily_msu Sure than why are you afraid to say Michigan
English

Notice how I didn’t mention scUM a single time. I’m speaking purely on the principle of it, as I said if MSU told Jordan Scott to take a hike and brought in a portal 2 that would be unethical as well.
You’re the only one bringing scUM into this, but since you insist on focusing on them, UConn has as many players in their starting 5 that started at scUM as scUM themselves do. How is that not using the transfer portal to replace your roster?
And I’m not saying any of this to take credit away from Dusty May or that team who have had an amazing season and deserve all the credit in the world for it. Beat our ass 2x fair and square and fully deserving of the final 4 and the natty if they win it.
I’d also never want MSU to build its roster the way scUM built theirs for this year. But it’s also not exclusive to scUM, I don’t like how Illinois, Texas, St. John’s etc. did it either. Not everything revolves around you guys for me.
English

@DooleyBrad @daily_msu The fact you’re really too dumb to understand what I’m saying at all is impressive ngl
English

@dalhoon_ @daily_msu You could have saved yourself the carpal tunnel from typing and just say “ I hate Michigan and will find fault in anything they do”
English

You’re either rage baiting or the dumbest person on this app and I honestly can’t tell which.
Getting transfers that complement each other while replacing everyone you already had in house is still using transfers to replace your roster.
What I very clearly meant by that was filling out empty spots without screwing over guys you already had. For example, if MSU went out and got a starting point guard, shooting guard, or small forward in the portal this year that would be unethical. If MSU goes and gets a starting center with one year of eligibility so McColluch has another year to develop into a starter and then a backup 4 to fill out the roster the rest of the way, that’s unfortunate that college basketball is in that spot, but an acceptable use of the portal.
Also, the MSU football team is a complete dumpster fire and lost like 50% of the roster so there was no choice but to have it be 50% transfers. I’d still absolutely much rather have it be full of home grown Spartans over mercenaries though, but it doesn’t really matter bc we’ll be lucky to win 3 games regardless
English

@dalhoon_ @daily_msu Michigan State football is going to be 50% transfers what does that make them
Also every transfer Michigan has compliments the other players no one player has to be the leading scorer
English

I’ll try to say it slower for you since you can’t comprehend basic English apparently.
Using portal to replace your roster = unethical
Using portal to compliment you roster and fill open scholarships = unfortunately necessary, but acceptable
Lmk if that’s still too big of words for your brain to handle and I’ll try to dumb it down more
English

@dalhoon_ @daily_msu You made no sense whatsoever all you sound like is a angry little spartan
English

Transfers aren’t unethical, recruiting over your guys is unethical. It’s okay to fill roster holes with transfers, not okay to tell the players already on your team to f*** off bc you’re getting something better elsewhere.
Idk why you people can’t understand the difference between getting 5 starters from the portal and getting maybe 1
English

@NotConnorCook18 We have a minutes log jam 1-3 as it is with JFJ, Medlock, Teng, Glenn, Divine, Carr, and Jasiah Jervis all going to be on the roster as of right now fighting over those minutes. There’s simply no minutes for anyone under 6’9” to come in from the portal as it stands right now.
English

I could see it. There’s some minutes available at the 3 tbh

NEWS: Notre Dame wing Jalen Haralson plans to enter the @TransferPortal, source told @On3. The 6-7 freshman averaged 16.2 points and 4.0 rebounds per game this season. Former McDonald’s All-American. on3.com/college/notre-…
English

@zundamotisuki No, nobody does. Import the 3rd world, become the 3rd world
English

@yamanakanobody Yes, yes they are. And the US has the exact same problem unfortunately
English

@pirooooon3 Taiwan is both independent of China and it is also the legal successor to the actual legitimate Chinese government, while the PRC is a breakaway state that is one of the most oppressive regimes on earth.
English

It depends on what you want to get out of it.
I think the absolute best way to watch is flashback order which would be
4 -> 1 -> 2 -> 5 -> 6 -> 3,
but if it’s your first time ever watching you should go
4 -> 5 -> 6 -> 1 -> 2 -> 3
While you can do
1 -> 2 -> 3 -> 4 -> 5 -> 6
And it works just fine, for a first experience release order is typically the suggested way to do it.
As for 7,8,9, they are what I’d call an absolute mess from a story perspective (to put it nicely) but a lot of people like them anyways (for reasons I can’t understand) so I’d suggest watching them just in case you end up liking them, but like if it were up to me I’d burn them so nobody would be forced to watch them again and completely remake them based off the “legends” book series Legacy of the Force
English

@The__RA2511 This would make sense if the regulations themselves weren’t abject disaster that fans and drivers all hate and cause extremely dangerous closing speeds like what happened in the Ollie wreck. There is no change to the car within the rules that will make the refs not a disaster
English

Yeah, had a car with a closing speed roughly 40mph faster than another on a straight that caused a wreck through a *formerly* flat out corner.
Personally though, the regulations don’t even make the slightest sense to me logically, even ignoring their impact on racing to begin with, and even if you accept the false premise that they are helping the environment (F1 race cars make up about 1% of all emissions related to F1). The cars are all required to run on alternative sustainable fuel to begin with starting this year and almost nobody buys EVs to begin with, so what is the purpose of forcing them to run with 50% of their power from the battery? Who benefits from that?
English

Me when I’m too dense to understand what tampering is to begin with.
Nobody is saying “you shouldn’t offer players opportunities” they are saying “wait until the team they are currently on finishes their season as to not undermine the coach and team they are currently playing for before reaching out.” It’s a respect thing and an integrity thing, but ofc scUM fans don’t understand that.
Also, name one player Izzo has lost to the portal that has had an actual better opportunity elsewhere, I’ll wait. It’s not an issue with players leaving MSU or MSU not having money, it’s about respecting other teams and coaches and having some integrity.
English

@JonahWilson__ “I know I can’t pay this player or get him to the NBA but I’ll be steaming mad if you talk to him to offer him a better opportunity!”
English

Not cheating is childish and un-american. The Michigan difference.
Jack Lang@JacklLang
@FallGuySports @JonahWilson__ Yes. At least I hope we “tamper.” Insisting you can’t talk to players outside the portal is childish and un-American. Do a better job paying and developing your players or you’re going to lose them. Sorry. It’s what’s best for the players.
English

I think the fix will eventually be moving to a baseball style system where a nominee needs a certain % of the vote to get in but nobody is guaranteed to get in each year if nobody gets enough votes. Now, I agree that the bar is higher for the “lower” series that you are in, but like Matt Crafton is a first ballot guy imo and another title for Allgaier makes him a HOF lock (and another 5-8 wins in addition to another title probably pushes him into the argument for first ballot)
