I caught Meningitis back in 2023 and if it weren’t for my mum being clued up on the symptoms I wouldn’t be here today. Woke up in the morning with the worst headache of my life which got worse as the day went on, feet were cold, couldn’t watch tv as it was too bright.

I was allowed to go home. Meningitis is horrible and does turn deadly quick. Trust your gut

Night time came, mum was in checking up on me and asked if I would like some toast she came back half an hour later with the toast and I had been sick and become unresponsive. Ended up being blue lighted to hospital where I spent 5 days on a drip of antibiotics an steroids before

If you think meningitis isn’t serious you are a fucking idiot. This disease took my little brother and is deadly. If not can lead to huge problems like amputation. Please for the love of god take it seriously. If my parents could tell you the pain grief and suffering this caused

I don’t see a realistic scenario where the US “wins” this war. Iran can launch ~500 drones/day, costing ≤$50K each. US fires 2–3 missiles (~$1M each) to intercept one drone. That’s ~$1.5B/day US defense spend vs ~$25M/day for Iran. How does that math lead to US victory? 🤔
